Honor Legacy

A century ago 1 out of every 3 Americans farmed. Now that number is close to 1 out of every 50. How can we as a society sustain a functional food system with such a drastic shift in our knowledge and appreciation of farmers? How can we leave behind those who work tirelessly to ensure we can all survive on the food they grow and the energy they provide?

Whether it be a first or tenth generation farmer, there is incredible pride in this occupation, and we strive to help honor the hard work and legacy of our country’s agricultural community.

Shine Light

More than 95% of American farms are family owned and operated. And the complexities of running a family operation are manifold, leaving our producers with often little-to-no hope for financial success. There has been a 150% increase in farm bankruptcies in the last 12 months, so understanding the urgency of this crisis is crucial, and providing long-term solutions is necessary.

Our goal with Perfect Sundays is to use the power of fictional storytelling to shine a light on challenging subjects both within and outside of the industry. Quality narrative stories can increase communication across the agricultural spectrum, and our team is proudly here to walk alongside family farms, co-ops, corporations and industry leaders on their collective path forward.

Bridge the Divide

We began this journey over a decade ago with the goal of bridging the urban-rural divide through the power of narrative storytelling. In the process we came to know and recognize the genuine and often-silent struggles of farmers.

We hope that by telling their stories authentically and compassionately we can move the needle on timely subjects - from increased social isolation and negative behavioral health outcomes - to healing some of the emotional wounds inflicted by an increasingly divided social and political discourse.
